The discovery
process involves sifting through barrels of discarded auto parts at
engine shops, roaming junkyards or searching
online to find interesting parts, license plates, emblems and
tags that have a story to tell and combining the opposing parts
in an original and distinctive way.
The
artistic process involves transforming
discarded, used or obsolete car engine parts and retired license
plates, car emblems, keys and factory tool tags into cool clocks
and award plaques for the unique home, office, den, garage or
special event. With the
decline of the automotive industry and car capitols like Detroit
- where many of the parts found their way into the cars - the
clocks become even more collectible, historic and valuable.
